You spend months getting ready for a few minutes in the ring. The Diamond Cowgirl Show Team is a season-long photography experience created for Central Texas FFA and 4-H livestock exhibitors who want more than the final backdrop picture.
I’m documenting the work before the class, the nerves at the gate, the moments in the ring, the reactions afterward, the connection between you and your project animal—and the parts of your show season your family usually has to experience from behind a phone.
Only 6 exhibitors will be selected for the inaugural 2026–27 team.

You Put Months Into This.
Feeding before school. Working hair after dinner. Washing. Walking. Driving. Loading. Unloading. Early mornings at the barn and late nights getting ready to do it all again. Then eventually, you walk into the ring. And somehow, the part everyone photographs is often only those few minutes. But the ring is only part of your story.
The 2026–27 DCPH Show Team was created to document the season around it, too. The quiet moments with your animal. The last-minute prep. Waiting for your class. Your people watching from the rail. Walking into the ring. Walking back out. The excitement, disappointment, relief, pride, dirt, chaos and everything that makes stock-show life yours. Because the season deserves to be remembered, not just the result.

Show Team photography is different from booking one portrait session or purchasing a backdrop photo after a show. For selected exhibitors, I become part of your season.
For your included show coverage, I meet you where the story is actually happening and document a focused portion of your show day, from prep and the moments leading into your designated class through the ring and those immediate moments afterward.
You show.
You take care of your animal.
You stay in the moment.

There is something I specifically want this experience to give you, too. You shouldn't have to choose between watching your kid show and making sure someone gets a picture of it. You shouldn't have to watch their class through your phone screen because these are memories you don't want to lose.
For the moments I'm there, you get to be Mom. Dad. Grandma. Grandpa. Their biggest fan standing at the rail. I'll get the picture. And years from now, they'll have photographs of more than what their animal looked like. They'll have photographs of what this part of their life felt like.

Stock shows move fast. Your photographs shouldn't feel like an afterthought.
You Do Not Have to Be a Champion.
And you don't need thousands of followers. You don't need to have shown your entire life. You don't need the most expensive animal in the barn. And this isn't an influencer team where I'm choosing six kids based on their social-media following. I'm looking for up to six Central Texas exhibitors whose seasons mean something to them, and whose show schedules can realistically work with the team.
Whether you're showing cattle, swine, sheep or goats, if you love this life and want the season documented, I want you to apply.
The banner isn't what makes the story worth remembering.
Show Team Investment - $495
Total investment for the 2026–27 season. $195 due only after acceptance to officially secure your place.
Remaining $300 split into two payments of $150.
Applying is completely free. You will not be charged anything when submitting an application.
If selected, you'll receive your official acceptance, Show Team agreement and payment information. Your initial payment and signed agreement will officially reserve your place on the team.
FAQ
What exactly is the DCPH Show Team?
The Diamond Cowgirl Show Team is a season-long livestock photography experience for a small group of selected Central Texas FFA and 4-H exhibitors. It combines dedicated project-animal portraits with real stock-show coverage so your gallery tells more of the story than a single show-ring photograph.
Do I have to be a champion or experienced exhibitor?
No. Selection is not based on how many banners you've won, the value of your animal or your social-media following. I'm looking at your story, enthusiasm, schedule, location and how your season fits with the team as a whole.
Who can apply?
Central Texas livestock exhibitors showing cattle, swine, sheep or goats during the 2026–27 season are welcome to apply. FFA and 4-H exhibitors are both welcome.
Do Show Team members have to constantly promote DCPH?
No. There is no weekly posting quota or requirement to constantly sell photography to your friends. Selected photographs may be featured as part of the DCPH Show Team throughout the season, with appropriate permissions.
Are major livestock shows included?
Major-show photography is not automatically guaranteed as one of your included coverages. Coverage at major shows depends on DCPH attendance, photographer access/credentials, show regulations and scheduling. Selected members receive priority access to request additional coverage when available.
Which shows are included?
Each member receives coverage at two approved jackpot shows. Applicants will be asked to share the shows and dates they currently expect to attend so I can evaluate scheduling before selecting the team.
Final included shows must be approved by DCPH and fall within the applicable service area or Show Team calendar.
Does show coverage mean you're with us all day?
No. Each included show is a focused coverage block, not unlimited all-day photography. Coverage is centered around your show-day preparation, designated class and immediate post-ring moments so I can document a meaningful piece of your day while realistically serving the entire team.
What happens if our show schedule changes?
I know livestock schedules can change. Selected families will receive specific scheduling and substitution policies with their Show Team agreement. Communicating changes as early as possible gives us the best chance of finding an approved alternative.
Can we book additional shows?
Yes. Show Team members receive priority access to request DCPH coverage at additional approved jackpots and shows. Additional coverage is booked separately and is subject to availability and travel.
Is video available?
Yes. Optional show-day video coverage and edited vertical highlight films may be available as upgrades for selected team members when scheduled in advance.
Will photographs of my child automatically be posted online?
Image-use permissions will be addressed with the parent/guardian during the acceptance and contracting process. If you have privacy concerns, you're welcome to note them in your application so we can discuss them before moving forward.
Can siblings both apply?
Yes. Submit a separate application for each exhibitor so I can properly evaluate each child's show schedule and season.

Applications are not first come, first served. I'll review applications after the deadline with special attention to show schedules, location and travel feasibility, family communication, exhibitor story, species diversity and overall team compatibility.
You do not need to rush through your answers just because applications have opened, but your completed application must be submitted before the deadline.
